Tsuka (handle): Genuine black Same (Rayskin) and dark red Japanese silk Ito (Braid)        

Tang: full tang with 2 Mekugi (peg); engraved with black smiths signature

Tsuba: zinc alloy tsuba with rounded edge

Saya (scabbard): black  lacquered in glossary finish with little dark red lines
